Mubasher: Crude oil prices decreased on Wednesday on the back of after US President Donald Trump’s top economic adviser Gary Cohn announced his resignation.
By 12:35 pm GMT, Nymex crude futures dropped 0.58% to $62.24 per barrel (pb), while Brent crude fell by 0.52% to $65.45 pb.
These declines come ahead of the US Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) supplies and stockpiles data due later in the day.
Analysts, polled by S&P Global Platts, expected a rise of 2.5 million barrels in oil inventories.
